Martin Siegert is the Director of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change, Imperial College London. Previously he was Head of the School of GeoSciences at Edinburgh University, where he developed the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation. He serves on the Governing Board of the EU's Climate Knowledge and Innovation Community (Climate KIC). As a climate scientist, specializing in understanding the Polar regions, he has published over 250 papers and in 2013 he was awarded the Martha T Muse Prize for Antarctic Science and Policy by the Tinker Foundation.
